Life isn't about the breaths we take, but the moments that take our breath away...

Doing ALL the things this Fall;)....

It has been a busy yet FUN Fall;), filled with trips and activities with the kids.  So enjoying the firsts for Maggie... the big girl stuff Harper is into these days... and the shenanigans of Evelyn.

But FIRST, "Mommy Vaca" with my mom and dad;)...

Clearwater Beach did not disappoint;)....

We eat, laid out, shopped...

...and caught up.  It was so nice to have this time with my parents just catching up.  Not a bottom to wipe, food to cut up, or child-friendly activity in sight- HA!  Truly loved being a tag-along on my dad's work trip... I'm open any time, guys;)... HA!
Mom and Dad, thanks for including me;)!!

Back on the home-front though....
This little nugget is just NOT so little anymore!!  Legit her pants are quickly becoming floods- ha!

I feel like we snapped our fingers and she's OUT with the little kid stuff and IN with the big kid stuff- BITTERSWEET!!

She spent an afternoon with the high school dance team, the Bentonville Tamers, learning a dance and then performed a couple weeks later during the halftime of the football game.  She was SOOOO excited to perform, but asked that I invite her friend, Brody, to watch her ;).  Well, he and his dad were there to see her do her thang... she felt pretty darn special... and I forgot just how fun high school football games are- I see more of those in our future- ha!

Brody's parents let us come watch Brody in action a couple weeks later as he played soccer.  He scored the first goal of the game and Harper was pumped- ha!!  We enjoyed hanging with his sisters and cheering him on through his fun for sure;).

Turkey Trot at school.  For every lap run, they gained a letter to hopefully spell out Turkey Trot.  Harper was beaming as she hopped off the bus that day, rolled up her sleeve, and said "bam!"  Haha- she was oozing with pride to show me she had completed a race;)!!!

It took until Harper's 4th year in school for me to be able to commit to a field trip with her class.  With Maggie in school I was SOOOO excited to volunteer.  We had fun cheering on the Hogs Women's Basketball team- so fun.  Hoping it's the first of many she'll think I'm cool enough to come to with her and her friends;).

{Harper's Happy Place}
It is quickly becoming apparent that Harper and horses go hand in hoof- ha!  She started at Zuriel Stables in their horse camp last year and now she does camp and lessons.  She LOVES being on the farm and caring for her favorite furry friend, Cheyenne.  She is becoming a good little rider, gaining strength and confidence and it's been fun to watch!

...she also has taken a liking to piano!  Her teacher, Ms Mary, is the sweetest, most patient person I have ever met- HA- and Harper is enjoying learning how to play.  Cupcake treat from her teacher to celebrate passing Level 1.  I selfishly am enjoying this time of year and having a pianist in the house- nothing like listening to holiday tunes on the piano!!

Maggie Lou is legit CRUISING through the Fall.  All the sudden, this kid KNOWS she's got legs and she wants them moving ALWAYS- ha!

She got a chance to meet Ms. Arkansas AND participate in the Turkey Trot on her adaptive bike!
side note: I was suppose to be at the race that day, but sick littlest sister kept me home.  Maggie's teacher took her out to the race herself, saddled her into the bike, and away they went... until she let her WALK through the finish line.

I received the above picture and had a tearful smile to say the least.  It is incredible to me to see the kindness and effort that is put into helping children participate in school activities- fortunate that Maggie's team helps her be a part of it all- grateful for sure!

We celebrated with Maggie's fav: chocolate chip mini muffins!!  I am TRYING to get her onto homemade ones and getting rid of the pre-packaged ones- kid loves them a little too much for our budget- ha!

WALKING - WALKING - WALKING!!!!!

Ms. Sass herself!
Evelyn Marie is keeping us laughing (and biting our tongue) constantly.  She is the girliest of the bunch- always wanting to be fancy and accessorized;).

She LOVES school... and also doing any chore- haha!  She just started getting herself dressed and making her bed ALL by herself each morning.  Miss Independent;).

She did have a week of sickness- what we thought was a reaction to antibiotics ended up being a bowel obstruction.  OMG.  It was the WORST, but Little Bit and I enjoyed a handful of home days together doing all the girly things: facials, doing hair, painting nails...
She cracked me up when I sat in her "salon chair" as she began to comb my hair she started a conversation "So, do you have children?" BAHAHAHAHA.  It was like she was a REAL hair stylist-  girl has chit chat down pat!

...a new stuffed animal from a friend when you're sick is the BEST!
After a week of home time she was back to herself;)...

...and ready to cheese it for picture day;).
LOVE her and her love of butterflies and rainbows... she sees the world through rose colored glasses for sure!

Pete and I got to take a small pause and go to Climb Bentonville with friends!  SO FUN!!!!!  We wore ourselves out, but enjoyed getting to know some new friends while sweating our way up the walls!!

...I was SUPPOSE to be there to help my sister turn 29.  Happy Birthday, Abby!!!  A stomach virus had other plans.  Felt pretty special when my mom was not only so chill and sweet with me needing to cancel the plans, but ALSO sent flowers to say I'd be missed- all the feels.

Say CHEESE!!!  My sweet AND VERY PATIENT friend was a rockstar with snapping some family pictures this year... she amazes me how she can get all the shots and we're back loaded in the car in 15 minutes... it was a mom's dream when it comes to the crazy that is family pictures!!
We LOVE you, Ms. Niki!

That's a wrap, Fall!!!  I have loved the flavors, cooler temps, and color change of the season but now BRING ON peppermint mochas and Christmas music- hehe!
