This fourth of July was a little different. Yes, I celebrated yet another birthday complete with fireworks and fun times, but THIS year was one for the memory books: my sister, Abby, married her best friend and partner- in-crime, Adam Albright in a BEAUTIFUL turn-of-the-century, downtown wedding.
Now, I have such wonderful memories of my wedding prep, the week prior spent with family taking care of last minute details, and the beautiful way it all came together the way I had always dreamt. I wanted this so badly for my sister and I have to say... I feel like I was just as excited (if not a little more;)) to celebrate with Abby. Knowing my daughter would be a part and watching someone else go through these extremely special day.... oh man- I was counting down the days and hours!
Sadly, living in Arkansas has made it a little difficult to be a part of the wedding prep like I wanted. I so appreciated all the Face time calls and pictures as the wedding came together, but at the rehearsal it all hit me- this wedding was UNBELIEVABLE! I didn't expect anything less from my incredibly fashionable and stylish sister, but DANG.... it was breathtaking!
Here are all kinds of snapshots from that incredible week and wedding!
The best part for this momma....
How lucky I am to have siblings who love my children so very much. Harper may be a crazy 3-year-old, but Abby included her in all the special moments. Seeing that little flower girl walking so proudly down the aisle with my stunning sister and dad following behind was such a fantastic moment for me....
Thank you, Abby, for all you did to make Harper feel so beautiful and special that day- it meant more than you know!
Makes my heart melt... thank you Mom, for making this beautiful dress!
Wedding Prep!!!
The junior bridesmaid, Tallis, and Harper. These two were inseparable those 2 days- ha!
The siblings the night before the big day!
Hubs & I at Harry & Izzys for the incredible rehearsal dinner!
My stylish parents;)
Fun times at the reception!!
Abby & Adam
You two are a beautiful couple together. Thank you for sharing this incredible moment with all of us. I am so excited as you begin the journey of marriage together. I know for certain it will be a journey, but doing it together will be incredible... love you both so much!
