22 Weeks

Here we are at a couple days shy of 22 Weeks!  We just had our second appointment with the high-risk doctor and got another thumbs up report card- I was thrilled!  Babies are doing well- becoming more rambunctious by the day, but it was wonderful to see them....

Stats from the day:

Nora: Baby A who is "locked and loaded"- head down and the biggest of the trio at 15 oz.  She was squirmy but the most well-behaved this visit ;)

Maggie: Baby B who is lying on my left side.  I am starting to feel the weight of the munchkins so resided on my left side for most of the sonogram.  Maggie was less than approving as she was doing everything in her power (punching, kicking, arching her back;)) to get me to move the heck off of her- ha!  She is 13 oz and doing well.

Jack: Baby C who is taking up the right side.  He was up to his normal antics and making the tech laugh as she followed him around to just get a good heart rate;).  He is also 13 oz. and was standing on his head just like his sister, Nora.

Here's the crew and I... complete with my face in the picture (thank you Pete for the first non-selfie of this pregnancy;))  Don't mind the empty Krispy Kreme box in the background- that's neither here nor there;)

Heartbeat #1

We have purchased the other 2 cribs to complete the cluster that is our nursery- ha!  It was wonderful to get them, but I have to say my heart rate does go up a little bit just walking into that chaos!  Excited to get the extra items out of there and the bedding and cute stuff put up, but until then.... I just breathe nice and slowly as I pass by.... in a few months this will be mission control for sure!

Heartbeat #2

A surprise visit from Nana and Auntie Anna "Nina" ;)

I was in utter shock as they poked their heads around the corner of my bedroom one afternoon to spend a couple days before Anna went off to college!!!  What a wonderful visit spent hanging out.  As you can see, Harper had her Nana and Auntie RIGHT where she wanted them- geesh.... a little spoiled you think?!

Thank you for making the looooooong drive, guys, just to spend a couple days with us- love you!

Hiccup

At first a hiccup, but not SO bad, was doctor placing me on extra restriction until we get to 24 weeks (when babies are viable) as my belly is measuring just about 40 weeks although my little munchkins are nowhere near being ready for the real world.... I am just to stay home as much as possible, preferably in the horizontal position... sounds like bedrest to me?!?!

Anyway, we have met amazing friends down here and they all come over once-twice a week to give us a sense of normalcy... I mean, Harper and I are social beings- locking us up does weird things to our brains- ha!  We LOVE our playgroup time...

here the girls are chanting pizza as they wait for lunch- ha!

Thank you, Arkansas friends, for being so kind in keeping us sane- we love you!

I know I have mentioned before, but Harper is TRULY a Daddy's girl... she pretty much worships the ground he walks on... and I can tell you, her Daddy just LOVES that part of having a daughter;).

Here she put on his socks and shoes, than ran to grab my phone to take a picture to send to Daddy while he was at work- crazy!

Yep- 2 peas in a pod as they play a game on the iPad... love them!!!

Another couple weeks in the books!!!  Hope the start of the school year is treating you well- here comes Fall!!!

19 Weeks: Two Girls & A Boy!!

19 Weeks

Wow I am so excited to be at this point... doctors think babies will be here around 32 weeks which means I have about 13 weeks to go- seems unbelievable to me!!

This has been a busy couple weeks for us with a couple heartbeats

Heartbeat

Heartbeat #1: Harper Grace is potty trained!!!  There was a moment where yes, I thought it would never happen as she just wasn't fully understanding and then poof- she was going all by herself.... as is everything we do with this silly girl- it ALWAYS has to be on her time;)

Heartbeat #2: Getting to focus on the younger 3 siblings for a 3 hour ultrasound!  Holy smokes there was many a potty and snack break involved for this momma, but watching and learning them for a morning was a tremendous gift... and even better gift was the doctor giving each one of them the thumbs up as they are growing exactly as they should... healthy little babies so far!

...and did I mention their momma also got a thumbs up- I guess "beach whaling" it is how I should remain- ha!

So, here we all are..

I have really got to start asking Pete to help with the pics... too many selfies;)
I have really been feeling each one of them and enjoy knowing where they each are calling home in my "beach ball".

Baby A: Girl!!!
Nora Kathryn
Name Significance: Kathryn is my middle name and my mom's name:)
Currently 8 oz and HR in 150s
She reminds me a lot of Harper... active and not always wanting to show us herself;)

Baby B: Girl!!!!
Margaret "Maggie" Cloe
Name Significance: Margaret is one of Pete's grandmothers and Cloe is his mother's middle name;)
Currently 7 oz and HR in 150s
She seems to be our chill baby... just hangs out and lets us fully scope her out!

Baby C: Boy!!!!
Jack Michael
Name Significance: Michael is Pete's middle name
Currently 7 oz with HR in 150s
He is ALL over the place!!  Took tech forever to just get his HR as he just wanted to do anything but sit still

Of course I have to include a shot of my baby I can see... she has been so precious lately: last night we heard her in bed talking to her siblings, "Dack, Dora, and Maggie;)"- ha!  Here she is with her besties... these girls are so silly and only have a matter of weeks between their birthdays;)- got to love 2 year olds!

Hiccup

Just getting big quickly... who would have thunk?!  :)  The nausea is a little better, I'm just sleepy as these bambinos put on the weight!  The hardest thing for me in this whole journey has been for me to S...L...O...W down and I am learning that it is essential every day- I'm kind of like a newborn: up for a few hours then down for a couple... goodness!  I am on a mission titled: avoidance of hospital bed rest, but with that means I have to constantly remind myself to TAKE IT EASY.  Luckily Harper has enjoyed the independence I have given her and actually enjoys handling things herself.... hehe!

Well... another couple weeks in the books!  We thank you each for your thoughts and prayers for little Nora, Maggie, and Jack... as well as the support to Pete, Harper, and I- THANK YOU!!!
