This year to celebrate my birthday, I got the opportunity to go home for a few days and visit with family!! It was a wonderful visit: lots of great food, good fun, and HEAT!!!!

Thank goodness for Violet on the car ride- Harper LOVES her and she's kinda like a make-shift babysitter... her paws are filled with MANY activities!!!

Nana gave a great gift for a child who loves to pack things, and unpack things, and pack things, and unpack things... oh yes- it is CONSTANT- the shopping cart has been a dream!

The child won't go NEAR her sunglasses :(, but leave it to Uncle Aaron to let her wear his Ray Ban's to make sunglass wearing more desirable- ha! I think this baby has expensive taste- oh this is going to be a long 18 years ;).
An attempt at a birthday train ride to dinner.... up until we learned that the AC was broken- on a 104 degree day?!?!?! Ya, we decided to take a raincheck and do dinner indoors- but we took a pic for keepsake purposes!
