Star Wars Meets Halloween...

Fall!!!  I believe this to be the most beautiful time of the year!  The colors... the flavors... the smells... the temps- LOVE!

{my Fall motto right by our door... I may or may need to RELAX more than I think I do, so this was my seasonal reminder... SLOOOOOOW down, don't concentrate as much on my never-ending to-do list, but rather on those things that are never ON a list... enjoy my babies more;)}

{Sisters - Love}

McGarrah Farms.
First stop in my slooooow down quest!  We went out to the pumpkin patch one evening, as a family and had the BEST TIME!  The weather was gorgeous, the girls were loving being together, and there were PLENTY of pumpkins "ripe for the pickin';)"....

Evelyn's School Halloween Carnival!
The first time girls more their costumes in unison.
Disclaimer: THANK YOU FOR THE COSTUMES, BEST NANA IN THE WORLD;)!!

Evelyn: Rey
Maggie: BB8
Harper: Kylo Ren

They were STOKED!!!
The carnival was held in the gardens of a venue here in town and the party continued even as it got dark outside.  There you would find my oldest daughter.
Not with the younger kids eating treats and getting their face painted.
Not testing chili at the chili cook-off with the other parents.
Oh no- she found Darth Vador.
The 4-year-old version.
They held up their light sabers.
And they battled.
Through the light from their sabers was the only way you could find them.

....And she whooped that little boy.  Didn't even seem phased.  But they shook/hugged it out and said their goodbyes when it was all said and done.  And we all high-fived her.  This girl is one-of-a-kind.  Makes me smile.  I think she made a forever friend that night.  And made her Daddy proud;).

Next stop: Harper's Halloween party at school!  I was so excited to see her with all her friends enjoying the holiday at school!  Sweet girl was ROCKIN' that costume... ALL.  DAY.  LONG.  I did get to pause and snap a pic with her bud, Brody.  They've known each other since they were LITTLE, but this year they click- always playing together.  Captain Jack Sparrow and Kylo.  Friends;).

...kinda was LOVING gingerbread HAUNTED HOUSES?!  Who knew?!  Well... that or I'm just a sucker, but the girls had fun.  Well, Harper did.  Verdict was out over where most of the candies trailed off to.  But I think we figured it out based on the rainbow of color drooling over onto Evelyn's chin- oh brother.... this girl and CANDY- HOLY SMOKES!!!

The girls... ahem their Daddy... carved pumpkins!
I had to laugh... girls were SOOOO EXCITED, until they saw the pumpkin guts.  They peaced-out so quickly and left their VERY PATIENT Daddy to the carving- ha!
Good job, Pete;)... they adorned our porch quite nicely...

Annual General Mills Halloween Carnival!
Got this pic with cutest BB-8 I know;), but the other two were too busy enjoying festivities to pause for a good pic- ha!  It was SO GREAT to see Pete's co workers and enjoy the fun activities they had planned throughout the office!

HALLOWEEN NIGHT!!!
The grand finale was here!  First trick-or-treat in the new neighborhood!!  Girls enjoyed it with neighborhood friends AND the Brundige family!!

Dads took the kids through the neighborhood....
While Shannon and I manned OUR treat table;).
Wine in hand we had fun handing our cider, pumpkin doughnuts, candy, and glow sticks!
SO MUCH FUN!!!!

Papa Bear and Prince seemed to have a blast.. and the kids seemed to have a FAB time themselves!!!
Such a fun holiday with friends!!!

May the Force be with You!!
We had such a fun month, and TOTALLY put those costumes to good use.  Was pretty sweet watching the Daddy AND the kiddos be EQUALLY excited for the dressing up- HA!!

Happy Halloween 2017!!!!
