We began the month with a fresh set of family pics...
THANK YOU MS NIKI + JACKSON!!!
Nothing like your old next door neighbor meeting you at a beautiful park- with her son- to knock out a couple cute shots of the fam in 10 minutes... you're the BEST, friend!!!
{these little ladies are our world;)}
... and then Ms Niki and her sweet family joined us for an early friends-giving;) meal to celebrate the season. Kids had a ball setting up a store compete with price tags for the parents to "shop"- good times!!!
CINNAMON ROLLS!!!!
Harper and I had fun baking together for Daddy's office;)!
...but I came down with a cold virus that
JUST.
WOULDN'T.
QUIT.
Ain't no one got time for that!! I was doing it all to try and rally, but Shannon to the rescue with tea, oils, and soup. No joke I followed "her plan", slept, and woke up feeling like a million bucks....
Thank you, friend!!!
...just in the nick of time! Thanksgiving prep blew up in our house: baking and cooking and prepping OH MY!!
This year Pete manned the turkeys: one baked and one smoked.
And I did the sides and desserts WITH a helper! Harper is loving time spent with us in the kitchen...
...and we love showing her the ropes!
I totally dusted off the ice cream bowl Pete had given me (ahem 3 Christmases ago- oops) and made our first couple batches of homemade ice cream!!!
Why hadn't we done this AGES ago?!
Delicious.
Hands down.
Pete is now dubbed jedi master of ice cream... cinnamon and cookie dough being his best.
Not sure our waist lines enjoy this new found hobby, but the kids and I sure are enjoying Daddy's creations!
Then, we set the table....
...and welcomed our friends!!
The Brundige Family and their parents joined us for an official Friends-giving! We had such a nice time enjoying some of their annual Thanksgiving yumminess and visiting... always seems to go by like a whirlwind, but we sure enjoyed celebrating together!
{Berkley + Harper}
Nothing better than sharing a meal with friendly faces on Thanksgiving!
Good Times. Good Food. Great Friends.
Thank you for celebrating with us, Brundige family!
