Christmas Festivities are the BEST!!!

CHRISTMAS.

LITERALLY.

Seriously though, I think this time of year is magical.  Call me childish, but I still get giddy and excited tearing into all the Christmas decorations.  I can hardly WAIT to have the whole house in twinkling lights!

Each of the girls has a small tree in their room where all of their ornaments go... this year it was so cute to see Maggie and Evelyn helping adorn their trees.  They're growing up, people!!!  Ahhh!!!

...and then we ALL worked together to get the big tree together.  Harper was ALL ABOUT IT!  Very specific about where the ornaments should go...

...and even more specific that the train HAD to be plugged in asap!  She and Evelyn watched that train for hours that first night.  

Sister sweetness.

The girls and I made a visit to the littlest members of our family to get them in tip top shape for Christmas!  Jack and Nora have the best seat in the house up their in Heaven... 

Love you, babies.  Enjoy Heaven... but know your Mommy + Daddy are missing you SOMETHING FIERCE during all these warm-fuzzy festivities this time of year.

Harper and I had a mother-daughter day to get Christmas dresses and pick out gifts for her sisters.  We had a fun time and she had to come home and pose in her new dress and freshly wrapped presents;)- she enjoys Christmas prep just as much as I do... LOVE!

 

Hallmark Christmas Movies!!!!!!

The BEST when your friend invites you for a movie and wine night to WATCH your brother in a Hallmark Christmas movie.

Niki... you rock!  Thanks for the snacks, wine, and girl talk as we watched, Aaron.  I BELIEVE this little ritual is becoming a tradition;)!!

Advent Calendar Time!!!!!

There are always so many little things I want to do with the girls, teach the girls, experience with them, throughout the holiday season.  In order to make sure I accomplish it all and can ENJOY it all, I organize it all (I know, no surprise there- ha:)) into a little advent calendar that we do each evening!

...like decorating gingerbread... the train version;).

  

....and seeing Christmas lights while visiting Santa!
