Life isn't about the breaths we take, but the moments that take our breath away...

Christmas 2020!!!

A couple days before Christmas we packed 'er up and headed north!  The kids were stoked- especially when they learned there was SNOW on the ground in Indiana- ha!  As soon as we got out of the van they hugged Nana and Papa and went straight to building a snowman... oh the priorities;).

I gave hugs and went straight in to SMELL and SEE all the Christmas that is brought to life in my parent's house.  Love how the mantle of stockings is growing...

...as well as the place settings;)

Now THIS is what home for the holidays looks like!

Pete's parents came into town for a couple days and we got to visit them- whohooo!!  They moved to Florida over the summer and this was going to be our first holiday trip we wouldn't be able to visit.  I was THRILLED they decided to make the trip and we LOVED brunch at Cracker Barrel and exchanging gifts;).
Merry Christmas, Tom & Darla!!!

The hostess with the MOSTEST!!
My sister, Abby, and her husband, Adam, always kick off the week festivities with dinner and fun in their home!  This year we played Bingo FOR PRIZES!!!!  We had soooo much fun;).

They appreciated all the work their aunt and uncle did VERY MUCH;).

{Christmas Eve 2019}

Church as a family and then back for jammies and GRAB BAG!!  The girls LOVE that there is a bag of goodies all for them.  Papa started a great tradition and we're grateful for it for sure!

Then it was upstairs to get ready for bed... but first- Santa and Mrs. Claus were spotted outside!!!  One of the sweetest things for the girls- their squeals are PRICELESS!
Oh how I love Christmas Magic!

{Christmas Morning on Adios}
...love these sleepy smiles;)

The girls were in Heaven...

lots of fun to go around...

...and watching Maggie genuinly enjoy it all- especially helping Papa unwrap HIS gifts- was the best!!
Aunt Natalie got a new camera for Christmas and asked if she could practice using it with some family pictures- ummmmm YES PLEASE!!

love....

LOVE HIM.....

...and these little muchkins we're raising;)
Thank you SO MUCH, Natalie, for sharing your talent with us- you have a gift!!

Always so bittersweet... those final goodbyes before we head home from Adios Pass.  This was an incredible visit filled with beautiful decorations, amazing food, and the BEST company!!
Thank you for EVERYTHING, Mom and Dad!!!

We came home, unpacked it all, tucked the littles in...

...and enjoyed our Mommy-Daddy Christmas.
Hands down this is one of my favorite evenings every year.  This year, I was surprised with a commercial-grade popcorn maker and pretzel warmer.  I was SO touched as Pete researched, traveled, and called in some favors to make those things happen... some freshies for Trick-or-Treating 2020- haha!

{Christmas on Grimsdell}

...looks like Santa made a loop back around to give the girls "Christmas morning at home"

What an incredible season... so much happy and warm-fuzzies this Christmas
Merry Christmas!!!!
love, the lee family
