Valentine's Day Prep!!!
Pete built us a new kitchen table in the fall and I am LOVING decorating it for the holidays- HA! Not sure why I set the table to match the holiday/time of year, but I DO love a good tablescape- hehe!
My mom came through BIG for me this year (she may think it's silly but she supports my decorating;)) with heart-shaped plates and napkins to bring V-Day to the space!!
I LOVE how they turned out- thank you, Mom!!
I also got out to see my tiniest Valentine's and spend some quiet time... love you, Jack and Nora!
...each year Pete and I come up with "our loves" of each of the girls... and add them to their door as we countdown the days of February until Valentine's Day. I'm always commenting on their kindness and strengths while Pete always writes stuff like "I love how you think farts are funny"- hands down, his are always the favorite EVERY SINGLE YEAR!!
..the 14th has arrived!!

...and to school they went to enjoy sharing the love with their classmates. Harper adopts the room mom's daughter every classroom party- haha! I think, once a big sister ALWAYS a big sister... she's a natural;).
This year I dug into the archives of my camera and put together a slide show of home videos from our wedding on... I had fun, and it was a great family evening we spent with ice cream in hand as we giggled (and shed some tears maybe) through all the hilarious-ness that is our family;).
I even got to take this guy out to celebrate! Dinner at Mister B's (our all time favorite;)), and then a walk around the North Forest Lights exhibit at Crystal Bridges. It was a beautiful night and felt so good to share some quiet moments and a good meal, with my man!
