April 8th- here we COME!!! We enjoyed a nice Saturday celebrating two of the three April 8 babies!
I kinda dork out over birthdays... I began the weekend with a little itinerary of the fun about to be had- lol- I know, I know... but my OCD collides with my excitement for a special occasion and poof- there's usually an itinerary of fun for the "main events" in our household.
The birthday babies share a love of Star Wars, so I thought it only fitting to make that the theme- HA!
Even though we had celebrated Harper's birthday in Arkansas a week earlier, I still wanted to do something special with her on her actual birthDAY. She invited her friend Nora to go with her to the American Girl Store for a little shopping and fancy snack- the mommas tagged along as well for a super girly afternoon- ha!
{car ride excitement watching Moana and opening her gift- complete with friendship bracelets for their dolls- Nora you are the CUTEST!!!}
{American Girl Doll Store + fancy drinks and cupcakes= MAJOR EXCITEMENT!!}
Thank you, Nora {and Nora's mommy} for a fabulous, extra girly, afternoon- we LOVED it!
Happy Birthday, Daddy + Harper!!!!
{a few of the sweet goodies...}
A Day late, but it still made birthday weekend itinerary- HA! Pete and I got to have a date night to celebrate another year in the books- 30's are looking good on you, babe;). Dinner and a movie (his choice being, Logan;)) was perfect for us... amazing what a conversation we can have with one simple kid-free dinner- HA!
And of COURSE this was my view the following weekend- THANK YOU'S in progress, people. Those that know me know I am a bit crazy about this old-fashioned way of spreading a little happy in people's mail. HA! Anyway, they sat down together to write their thank you notes, and it made my heart happy.
Harper- you are SIX! Not sure how that can be, but you continue to be the sweetest and most caring little girl. It has been a bit of a tough year for you adjusting to a new place and new school, but I appreciate you continuing to talk with me about it all and your zest for life- keep doing you, sweet girl!!!
Pete- I know we're creeping up to out mid thirties, but I have to say, which each passing year, I'm having more and more fun with you. You are the BEST Daddy and incredible husband- thank you for doing life with me- LOVE YOU!
Aaron- enjoyed face timing you- looks like you enjoyed a fabulous birthday weekend home with the fam! Thank you for being so present with our kiddos- they LOVE their Uncle Aaron!!!
Happiest of Birthday Wishes, April 8 Babes!!
