Just like every other holiday, I got super excited for Valentine's Day! Any chance to decorate and do some cutsie, special, somewhat gaudy things with the family- YA- I'm all over it!
This year was fun, because I was just about bursting at the seams to let Harper know we would be headed for a short trip to Arkansas during some of her Spring Break {we gave each of the girls a suitcase to break the news and a countdown chart for Harper- she may or may not have been pretty stoked}!
The girls and I enjoyed prepping a few presents for Daddy to show him he's our main squeeze;):
We framed the grouping of pics for his office to replace the baby ones I did when it was just Harper and Mags... figured with Evelyn being almost 2 it was time, right?! HA!
I loved waking up to this larger than life card on the fridge; they trying to butter me up as I make their meals I believe- hehe!
I enjoyed setting up for a fun evening with my loves while they were at work and school...
...and face timing my two tiniest loves thanks to the bestest fairy-godmother EVER!!!
{thank you Jen... meant so much to 'see' them with their sweet valentines- you're amazing}
...and another Jen shout-out... thanks for the heart pizza idea!
I had fun making them and Harper just laughed when I showed her and said, "Awww... mom you're so cute." Is she calling me corny? I think she may be calling me corny- hehehe!
I loved the Valentine's evening with my posse of loves, but it was nice to take some time to celebrate with this guy a few days after the fact;).
Through thick and thin....
...and crazy moves around the country, lots of kids, the insanity that is parenthood, lots of laughs, some tears, and a lifetime of hugs...
THANK YOU for being my guy- forever and always. I love you, babe.
In whatever way shape or form, I hope each of you was able to smile a little on the inside this Valentine's Day. Thinking of you all.....
Happy Love Day!!
