Easter Bunny is coming!

I know I mentioned it around Christmas time, but geesh- holidays with Harper are so much fun!  I grew up in anticipation and excitement of the next holiday and ever since Harper was born, I have kept the excitement going (for her AND I... kind of a kid at heart when it comes to that stuff;).  Well, the past couple years it has truly been more for me (and the adorable pictures of course:)) then for her... she was clueless.

Well, this year has been so different.  She enjoys learning about the significance of the holidays and enjoys the anticipation- LOVE that!  Easter was no different, although she did catch me sneaking Easter basket items into the shopping cart.  I quickly said, "those are for when the Easter Bunny comes".  Although she was content with that answer, she kept reminding me that the Easter Bunny was coming soon and we needed to get the 'My Little Ponies' (the items she saw me sneak into the cart;)) out to give to the Easter Bunny- oh dear.

Needless to say, she enjoyed helping me decorate her little sister's Easter basket, stuffing eggs, going on an Easter Egg Hunt, and spending time decorating her angel siblings' memorial for the holiday- it was wonderful for her momma.

Dressing up and going on an Easter Egg Hunt at Daddy's work started out the Easter season.... she loved it!

This year we unfortunately were unable to go to Easter mass, so instead we went and spent some time on Easter Sunday with our little munchkins... I can tell you: we got so much out of those 30 minutes with our little angels.  Happy Easter, Jack & Nora!!
Do you notice how the patch of grass in front of their memorial is in the shape of a heart- love that:)

Ha- can you see the 'big sister excitement' on Easter morning?  I live for that face- honestly!  Of course we had to get little sister in there too;)... This was out family quiet time before our annual Easter Brunch;)!

We had so much fun with our friends celebrating Easter!  The brunch and egg hunt were so much fun and we enjoyed having a group of people over for the FIRST time since bringing Maggie home!  It felt so good and our kiddos remained healthy even with having guests- double bonus!
Got to love that THIS was the best family picture I got that day- ha!  Of course because I bought the girls matching dresses and everything... oh well- this is a typical snapshot;).

I wish you all a VERY Happy Easter season.  We enjoyed celebrating Jesus' Resurrection with friends and family- spending quiet moments focusing on the blessings of our life... God Bless you all and thank you for ALL the blessings you have helped bring to our life.
