32 Weeks here we are! Gosh, when I hit 30 weeks I thought the end is near, but now it seems long again.... 8 more weeks (but I'm sure it will fly by;))
PS: this is my sick-headed self, but notice my belly button finally popped out?! Is it weird that I really wanted it to pop... ya probably strange, but ya know- at least I'm honest ;)
Heartbeat
My heartbeat this week was attending our birthing class with Pete. Being totally honest here- I was not looking forward to it... after a LOOONG week with 4 year olds, I just wanted to spend a quiet weekend at home, but Pete was so excited about it, I knew it would be fun!
We learned so much about labor, delivery, and how the heck we're suppose to take care of this newborn creature that's about to be ours!
Things we learned this weekend:
(now... please don't judge- remember everyone- this is our FIRST ;))
5. Labor is a LONG process- we're talking not 4-6 hrs.... more like 12-20- oh geez
4. You need more in your hospital bag then a pair of pjs and outfit for your baby- oops... who knew?!
3. You can't eat once you're in the hospital- oh that could be bad news bears
2. The Dr. and nurses really aren't there much.... which leaves the bulk of the duties, coaching up, comfort measures to the spouse (aka: Peter Lee).... oh the look on his face when he realized that.... ;)
1. That most women are a little out of it once things get hairy- oh please God let me be civil and appreciative of my husband....
All around the class was WONDERFUL! Pete was glued to the teacher's every word, but as soon as we left his first question, "So how soon do you think your mom can get here??" HA!
I also wanted to share a couple pictures as we continue to get things together...

...a beautiful bag a friend from work made for Harper- I think it is so cute and although I KNOW it is suppose to be functional, I just hate to use it.... it's so pretty hanging there in her room ;)
Thank you SO much, Amanda!!!

A few pics from her closet
It is slowly starting to fill up- I am the most excited about her growing library... children's books are so darn cute!!!

Organizational rings for Harper's closet (newborn- Toddler)
Oh ya.... DEFINITELY had these bad boys on my registry... my mother may have laughed at my ridiculous want of a waste of money, but oh ya... they were the first gift I received addressed to Harper- from my mother nonetheless... and yes, they are already in use- hehe!

Hiccup
HEARTBURN! Holy moly who knew you could get heartburn in the middle of the night, when you first wake up, in the shower, after eating a huge plate of spaghetti (ok, I knew that one- but totally ate it anyway) but really any time of day! The stabbing feeling is not-so-fun when you have to remain vertical to get it to go away.... ya, not the greatest when sleep has been interrupted or is allllll you want! Thankfully over-the-counter stuff is working to combat it, but wah- I still am a little whiney about it (can you tell??) ;)
So, I'll be excited to share my trip next weekend as I travel to Indiana for our baby shower... I cannot WAIT to see you all!!!!
Have a wonderful week :)
